The Hackney Proms

Hackney Proms is a charity formed in 2004 to bring more high-quality live music to the cultural life of Hackney. Since then, Hackney Proms have promoted a number of very successful concerts and after a time without any concerts, we are delighted to have relaunched the Hackney Proms with Jally Kebba Susso at Shoreditch Town Hall in March, and Palisander at the Hackney Showroom in May. The concerts were great and we can’t wait for the next one.

Please come and join us to hear the entrancing classical band three4, featuring our very own Kate Conway on her violin, with Emma Dogliani (soprano) and Stuart Wild (keyboard). They are three musical friends specialising in intimate and classy performances. Expect musical virtuosity, plenty of banter, walking and playing, with pieces by Bach, Verdi, Wieniawski and others. Sunday 24th June at 11.30am, back at Shoreditch Town Hall for this gig, in the Council Chamber.

Hackney Proms are relaxed and informal Sunday morning performances, with coffee, croissants, and drinks available at the bar. Everyone is welcome, from babies to great-grandparents. We present two 40-minute halves with an interval, and concerts finish by 1.15pm.
