Eleven years ago, almost to the very day, period-instrument ensemble Battuta presented the first ever season of concerts at the Hackney Proms.
Now musicians with international reputations, they return with a familiar yet fresh programme of orchestral and chamber masterpieces from the Baroque era, performed in-the-round on historical instruments for all the family to enjoy.
